I wanted to travel to Spain for years, and finally checked off my Espana bucket list for my birthday last month. It is a wondrous country and I can still feel those fifty degree mornings in Madrid as I planned my adventures at the local cafeteria (cafe' con cream y azu'car, por favor) I visited an ancient city called Toledo that was set on a hill above the plains of Castilla La Mancha. In Barcelona, I saw two of Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces, La Sagrada Familia and Casa Mila. La Sagrada Familia was the most spectacular building that I've seen in my entire life. I saw the Mediterranean Sea for the first time. Walking the historic streets of Madrid filled me with wonder as I witnessed the ancient architecture and the mix of young and old people alike. I cannot wait to return to this amazing country. Gracias!

I was able to "join" you on your wondrous trip to Spain by becoming....lost...mesmerized...in the beauty of your pictures....I saw...was witness....to the oldness of the cities...the streets...that sharply contrasted with the energetic flow of all the young people....Two different worlds....brought together....I could easily move in and out of each one....

There was a beautiful rainbow that greeting my happy heart....But I had little need of the actual rainbow....one was already in my soul and I carried it with me the entire day....

So relaxing to just sit and enjoy a drink on the type of "sidewalk" cafe that make the streets even more colorful....I sat...relaxed....and enjoyed the flight of fancy awakened in my heart....my memories....Beautiful traveling with you...
